Merseguera is texturally pulpy but also zippy due to high acidity and only 12% abv. Lime and
lychee flavors finish quickly.
Vinne’ Sklepy Pinot Blanc, Czech Republi
Since Cedar Rapids houses the National Czech and Slovak museum, it only makes sense we
bring in some Czech wines! The golden yellow color, the aroma combines fruity and floral
aromas, full, harmonious, rich in extractive substances, very elegant, with a pleasant residual
sugar content, delicate acidity and long persistence.
Rudy Zinfandel, North Coast CA$17.99

nose of raspberries and coffee, this Zinfandel is rather inviting. Cocoa, espresso and ripe

Staff Picks

2015 Brooks Riesling, Willamette Valley, OR $19.99 now $13.99

This lovely Riesling displays aromas of Meyer lemon, grapefruit, green apple, fresh thyme, gardenia, lanolin, and apricot skin. On the palate, it has bright nectarine, white pepper, rosewater, fresh-cut mango, and white grapefruit! This Riesling isn’t overly sweet as much as it is elegantly sweet. It is wonderful with a cheese and fruit tray on a warm summer’s day.

2017 Tora Bay Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand $12.99

This little New Zealand gem is fairly typical in style, focused more on passionfruit and citrus flavors than on the herbal and grassy flavors. Along with with all the lemon, passionfruit and stone fruit characters, there's a lick of zingy acidity and a slightly creamy texture, making for an easy-drinking summer sipper. This wine hails from Martinborough, New Zealand which is a boutique wine growing area in the Wairarapa region. Sitting at the bottom of the North Island, Martinborough is separated from the South Island by a wild and often dangerous body of water named the Cook Strait.

2017 22 Pirates, Central Coast CA was $23.99 Now $19.99

Customer Picks

2018 Andis Sauvignon Blanc, Amador CA $15.99

Aromatics of lemon zest and fresh-cut pear lead to crisp flavors of grapefruit and a hint of peaches. Serve this wine chilled alongside seafood, light pasta dishes, and chicken with basil and garlic.

2018 Giapoza Rose, Napa CA $13.99

Aromatics of lemon zest and fresh-cut pear lead to crisp flavors of grapefruit and a hint of
peaches. Serve this wine chilled along. This rosé was made in the Vin Gris style - ripe Mourvèdre and Grenache grapes were picked and pressed whole cluster. The very short amount of time the juice is exposed to the red grape skins in the press imparts only the most delicate of color and aromas to the resulting juice. The 2018 Giapoza Rosé takes on a light pale pink color. The aromas are enticing and exuberant, with bright strawberry, peach, and honeydew melon evolving in waves. In the mouth, the wine sings with flavors of guava, white pear, and a hint of tangerine, balanced by fresh and juicy acidity. Side seafood, light pasta dishes, and chicken with basil and garlic.

2016 Bin 6410 Pinot Noir, Sonoma CA $17.99

The 2016 Bin 6410 Pinot Noir exudes roasted hazelnut tones on the nose but it is
closely followed by the signature aromas of blackberry, cherry, and raspberry fruit for which this wine is known. On the palate, the spice tones and tannins from the wood are supported with the rich fruit and a clean crisp finish. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir pairs well with fowl, smoked meats, hard cheeses, and most any food from the backyard grill. Drink now through 2019.

2016 Giapoza Cabernet, Napa CA $16.99

The 2016 Giapoza Cabernet Sauvignon is an extroverted and engaging wine from the very start.
The nose is expressive with aromas of ripe raspberries, black plum, black cherries, and a dusting of cocoa powder. In the mouth, the wine is broad and dense, with upfront flavors of
blackberries, blueberries, and dark chocolate entwined with anise, clove, and a core of richly
toasted oak. The finish is expressive and long, with lingering flavors of butterscotch and vanilla.
